Valentine's Day

Jeffrey is on his way to preschool and he is geared up for his Valentine's Day party. He is using the cute bag Memaw sent to carry all the Valentines he is bringing for his classmates. They are Lightning McQueen Valentines that inexplicably came with Lightning McQueen pencils to stick through them.

The beads on Arabelle's necklace are heart-shaped, in honor of the occasion.

Jeffrey seemed to really really enjoy this holiday. He got Valentines and special Valentine's candy at church and was very excited about that. When it was time for him to go to school the next morning, I told him he got to bring his bag with the Lightning McQueen Valentines, and it was the first time I had seen him really excited to go to school. He was bouncing around and saying "School, school, school" while carrying his bag. When I went to pick him up he was ecstatic to show me all the valentines he'd gotten. There was one with a whole Hershey's bar attached and he was shaking he was so excited about it as he waited for me to open it then and there.

Arabelle and the Great Outdoors

We have been having a warm spell here recently, and Arabelle has been enjoying exploring outside.



I'm hoping all that mud comes out of her Le Top Boutique Cowgirl dress. Maybe the bib offered a tiny bit of protection?

Trendy Baby

This is what Arabelle wore to her recent appointment to see the Gastroenterologist at the Children's Hospital. Part of their protocol is to take a picture of the patients, and the doctor said Arabelle's was definitely one of the very cutest she'd ever seen there.

Jeffrey's "new" superman action figure we found at the thrift store. For some reason its cape is more brown than red and covered in paint and other markings. Jeffrey is thrilled with it.
