It's the Great Pumpkin, Jeffrey James

Jeffrey chose this pumpkin himself at a pumpkin patch. Perhaps I will find those pictures later.

First he did the responsible thing and polished his pumpkin carefully (I got out a baby wipe to clean his hands off, and then he insisted on using one on the pumpkin, and then spent about 5 minutes on it).


He emptied the guts one seed at a time,


and then he really wanted the big knife to help carve, but sadly we couldn't allow it.
